The Hotel Marguerite offers a traditional French Continental breakfast. 

‍

Called "continental" in hotels, the traditional French breakfast is unchanging.

It features typical French products:

• fresh bread from the baker (boulangerie M&T, St Pryvée St Mesmin),
• slices of bread topped with butter, sweet or semi-salted depending on the region, jam and honey,
• a morning croissant (boulangerie M&T, St Pryvée St Mesmin),
• cheese and hard-boiled eggs
• fruits
• orange juice,
• plain yogurt made with French milk,
• a hot drink of tea, coffee or hot chocolate (Folliet house).

For our foreign visitors and those with gluten intolerance, we are adding to our menu :

• a cooked cheese and a fromage frais,
• hard-boiled eggs and fruit.

‍

For children under 10, breakfast will consist of 1 loaf of bread, 1 applesauce and 1 hot or cold drink.

‍

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am on weekdays and from 8am to 10am on weekends and public holidays.

It can be brought to your room at no extra charge.

During busy periods and for everyone's convenience, we ask our customers to specify a specific time slot for breakfast service.

2025 prices: €11/adult - €7.00/child under 10 years old

The Cheval Rouge public parking lot is 100 meters from the Hotel Marguerite.

This is an underground parking lot with a maximum height of 1.90m.

Since July 2025, the town council has unfortunately no longer granted us preferential rates for our customers.

The Hotel Marguerite provides a private bicycle room inside the hotel.

Our bike room can only hold 10 rooms. That's why it's imperative to reserve your space!

Price: €5.50/bike

We offer our bicycle touring customers :

• a city map and a personalized cycling itinerary with the help of our partner Citygem,
• a self-service water bottle,
• takeaway breakfast,
• Repair kit: puncture repair kit, set of wrenches, lubricant and foot pump (on request).

🚲 Rent a bike in Orléans

Staying at the Hôtel Marguerite also means enjoying the perfect setting for exploring Orléans and the banks of the Loire by bike. The city is crossed by the iconic “La Loire à Vélo” bike route, which is just a few minutes’ ride from the hotel.

Several bike rental shops located downtown make it easy to go for a ride:

- On-call duty: in case of emergency or nuisance, a person is present at night, who can be contacted on 07.86.24.93.87.

- Cot supplement: €10/night and subject to availability of suitable rooms (excluding Standard rooms),

- Dog supplement: €10/night/pet. This rate includes the additional care required by the presence of a pet (disinfection and deodorization). Subject to availability of rooms with parquet floors.

- Free anti-forgetting kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, razor), plus extra pillow or blanket, first-aid kit, ironing board and iron, plug adapter.

Penalties and disturbances :

The team at the Hotel Marguerite takes the well-being and peace of mind of its guests very seriously.

It also reserves the right to request the early departure of any person causing a disturbance in the establishment, without compensation or reimbursement.

Compensation for disturbance may be withheld for a lump sum of €300.

‍

The hotel is entirely non-smoking. A flat-rate charge of €100/night will be applied for any smell of tobacco.

‍

Any damage to the room will incur a minimum charge of €300 (and more on invoice). 

Degradation means, by way of example and without this list being exhaustive :

• breakage of equipment in the room or common areas (bedding, light fittings, elements of the courtesy tray, shower screen, glass, doors, door locking system, decorative elements, elevator, etc.)
• human and animal soiling that is not part of normal, respectful use of the premises.

At the Hotel Marguerite, we try to contribute to the respect of our environment through small, simple but very effective gestures!

‍

- towels: are you staying for several days? If you don't want your towels changed, please hang them on the peg. Only towels left on the floor will be changed,

- help us reduce unnecessary water consumption by turning off the taps after use and switching off the lights in your room when you leave,

- Since our building dates back to 1934, we're not in a position to install air conditioning - and that's fine by us! These systems consume a lot of energy and spread thousands of bacteria,

- to respect your body, we use Bio Naturals Remedies cosmetics. The brick containers allow us to refill and reuse them,

- we no longer use plastic on courtesy trays, and a bottle of tempered water is available on the 1st floor, in front of reception,

- For breakfast products that are not consumed, we put together baskets for our partner To Good To Go!

- our Continental breakfast formula offers a choice of quality local products in the right proportions. No leftovers!
